My head is spinning after reading all the dog park rage and point-counter-points in the other comment sections. FYI - I filed a hearing request today at the Kent County Health Department. It cost me a $25 non-refundable fee to do it and that's OK. It really doesn't have anything to do with a unofficial or official dog park (which I'm all for), one hundred year old lease law or that maybe I speed in my car and run red lights - it has to do with principle. My dog was not stray, running at large or whatever period. By the way, how did the meeting go today? Is the City stepping up? Are we going to have a grace period that allows dogs to be off lease from 6 to 8 PM? Let me know.
