Dog Photo of the Week -- 6/23

Muskegon's "dog beach" is always a hit! Especially on a Friday evening with a gorgeous sunset brewing. Juliette, Ella, and Josie enjoyed the brisk Lake Michigan water.

We went to the Muskegon Dog Beach and Gideon had a grand time jumping over the waves, rolling in dead fish (agh), and racing up the dunes with his dad! But when Myron went out in the water a little too far for his liking, he decided it was Mr. Puppyhead to the rescue. He began to cry and looked at me like "What do we do?" I said, "Go get daddy!" So he bounded out into the water after him. When he got to him, Myron decided to see if he really would rescue him and grabbed onto his tail. Gideon looked surprised for a minute and then kicked it into doggie-paddle high gear and pulled his daddy to shore! It was pretty darn cute. After that he wasn't so keen on the water...I think he thought Myron was going to drown! After that he raced around in the sand, making sure to stop on the little dunes and mark them as his own. A grand time was had by all and he slept like a baby all the way home.
