Cascade Dog Park
According to the Grand Rapids Press in the article "Dogs could get park of their own", Cascade could be the first area for a private off-leash dog park. This type of park isn't what the Grand Rapids Dog Park Enthusiasts are looking for, as tax-payers and Grand Rapids city residents, but the idea is a good one!

It sounds like a great idea and I'm sure it will get lots of support.
I for one would love to take my dogs to a place like that occasionally, but I also want to be able to take my girls to a dog park(s) in the city that I have already helped pay for through taxes.
Remember, we are asking for inclusion in neighborhood parks to not only exercise and socialize our dogs but to have the opportunity to socialize with other people and their dogs.

I think it's a great idea. I have thought of it myself and was entertaining the idea. I live within a mile of the location it will be. I myself run a pet sitting service and work at an animal hospital. I would be nice to had some where to take some of my clients on nice days. I am just concerned with the prices. Would there be a discounted price for regulars? Would I be able to bring my clients or is it just for the owners due to liability?

Is there anymore information available on this park in addition to the article? Maybe a website?
